摘要

Background Acute-on-chronic liver failure (ACLF) is a multi-organ failure characterized by systemic inflammation and portal hypertension (PH) may be a predisposing factor. Transjugular intrahepatic portosystemic shunt effectively treats PH in cirrhotic patients, but still patients may develop ACLF. The risk factors of ACLF development after TIPS are so far unknown.
