Is Soft Carbon a More Suitable Match for SiO_x in Li‐Ion Battery Anodes? (Small 37/2023)

In article number 2302644, Shang Wang, Yanhong Tian, Andreu Cabot, Lijie Ci, and co-workers demonstrate that a bidirectional diffusion behavior exists in SiOx/graphite anode due to the working potential mismatch, deteriorating the cycle life of the electrode. This mismatch can be restrained by substituting soft carbon for graphite, thus achieving an extended cycle life.
