摘要
This study aims to identify how sport simulation users perceive the sensory stimuli in a technology-mediated environment and how their stimuli perceptions give rise to behavioral intentions. The samples collected were drawn from 345 simulation users answering self-administered surveys. The structural equation modeling testing found that haptic stimuli greatly impacted telepresence but not pleasure. Interestingly, the aural stimuli’s effect was not significant on telepresence but substantial on pleasure. Visual stimuli had little effect on both telepresence and pleasure. Telepresence had a positive effect on pleasure. Lastly, pleasure positively affected participants’ behavioral intentions.
