Development of a digital patient model to support treatment decisions in head and neck cancer

Introduction The increasing complexity of tumor diagnostics and individualized treatment options also require new techniques of patient information processing and systems to support the decision-making process in the head and neck tumor board (HN-TB) in head and neck oncology. For this purpose, a digital patient model (DPM) for laryngeal carcinoma (LC) based on Bayesian networks (BN) was developed and already partially evaluated.
