A Comparison of Praevia and Nonpraevia Outcomes in Placenta Accreta Spectrum Cases: A Single Center Analysis

( Aust N Z J Obstet Gynaecol. 2022;62:487–493) Placenta accreta spectrum (PAS) disorders relate to abnormal placental attachment and are difficult to treat and detect. The variety of both risk factors, including in vitro fertilization and uterine surgeries, and invasion of the placenta can present challenges. Praevia-related PAS is easier to identify, and identifying PAS predelivery greatly improves maternal and neonatal outcomes. This study aimed to identify and compare PAS without previa risk factors and outcomes to PAS with previa risk factors and outcomes.
