摘要
Design and development of novel materials (nano or micro scale) are vital for resolving societal challenges in the range between the urgent need for the much better health care, safety, and energy management, etc. via their successful applications on sensor, imaging, therapy, and drug delivery using powerful platforms with excellent sensitivity, affinity and robustness as well as decreasing the process time and consumption of the energy used, etc. Molecular imprinting-based materials are great alternatives for these types of applications due to their unique properties such as high affinity, selectivity, sensitivity, and stability. This chapter aims to highlight and demonstrate the recent advancements in biomedical applications of molecular imprinting-based materials for biomedical applications such as drug delivery, bioimaging, cancer therapy, and sensor applications.
