Early Soft Error Consistency Assessment

This Chapter presents the evaluation of the soft error assessment consistency considering the SOFIA OVPsim-FIM w.r.t. RTL and gem5 FIMs. This Book contribution lead to the [1] publication. The Sect. 5.1 detail the case studies adopted to assess the consistency of the results considering different software stacks running at single-core resource-constrained architectures. As mentioned before, the soft error results’ consistency regarding multi-core architectures are presented in [1] which is separate from this book as they were generated by [2].
