•More accessible modalities for youth exposure therapy are needed.•The design and implementation of an exposure therapy summer camp is described.•Youth had significant reductions in anxiety and OCD symptoms following camp.•A subset of the sample maintained anxiety and OCD reduction at 3-month follow-up.•Resources and infrastructure need consideration when creating similar interventions.
