A Multi-criteria Evaluation Framework for Prioritizing the Geothermal Power Plant Site Selection Factors by Fuzzy AHP

In this study, we handle the geothermal power plant location selection problem by considering environmental conditions and aim to determine the critical factors in this decision problem and to determine their order of importance. For this purpose, after a detailed literature research and interviews with experts, we determine the factors that should be considered for the selection of geothermal power plant location, and the weights of these factors are determined using multi-criteria decision-making analysis. Fuzzy sets are also used to take into account all the uncertainty in the decision process. As a result, the most important and least important criteria for the location of the geothermal power plant are determined.
