Front Cover: Synthesis and Crystallographic Characterization of Helical Hairpin Oligourea Foldamers (Chem. Eur. J. 39/2023)

Foldamer hairpin-like motifs have been prepared by connecting oligourea helices with various alkyl and aralkyl linkers, and their structures were determined by X-ray diffraction. Some specific geometrical parameters like interhelical dihedral angles and helical twists were measured, thus allowing precise comparison between the different supersecondary structures.
