摘要
Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is a noninvasive diagnostic tool that is commonly used for the evaluation of spinal bone tumors. This imaging modality provides detailed information about the location, size, extent, and characteristics of the tumor, as well as its relationship to adjacent structures. MRI is particularly useful for identifying soft tissue involvement and is more sensitive than other imaging modalities in detecting metastatic spinal tumors. In addition, MRI can be used to monitor tumor response to therapy and to guide biopsies or surgical planning. However, there are certain limitations to MRI, such as its inability to distinguish between benign and malignant tumors solely based on imaging characteristics. Nevertheless, MRI remains an important tool for the evaluation of spinal bone tumors, and its use can help guide treatment decisions and improve patient outcomes.
