P186 Airway clearance in the STOP PEDS pilot study of oral antibiotic treatment strategies for paediatric cystic fibrosis pulmonary exacerbations
Journal of Cystic Fibrosis(2023)
摘要
Increased frequency of airway clearance therapy (ACT) is a key component of pulmonary exacerbation (PEx) treatment. STOP PEDS (Streamlined Treatment of Pulmonary exacerbations in Pediatrics) was a multicenter, prospective, open-label feasibility study in which oral antibiotic treatment for a mild outpatient pulmonary exacerbation was assigned randomly to either “immediate oral antibiotics” or “tailored therapy” (oral antibiotics started only for pre-specified criteria). Here we report the self-reported frequency of ACT among participants in both arms.
