Liver Transplantation as a Salvage Procedure in Patients with Posthepatectomy Liver Failure

Purpose: Some advantages have been reported for liver transplantation (LTx) in treatment of posthepatectomy liver failure (PHLF) due to liver resection, iatrogenic injuries, and liver trauma and PHLF. However, no comprehensive study has evaluated the literature systematically regarding the outcomes of LTx in these patients.
