摘要
Purpose: Patients transplanted according to Milan criteria have an overall survival (OS) at 5 years of up to 85-90%. Following the success of liver transplantation (LT) in these patients, new criteria have been formulated outside Milan with the idea of extending this curative option to more patients. Among outside Milan criteria, the most widely accepted are the UCSF and the "Up to seven" (UT7) criteria. The main objective of our study was to analyze the OS of LT outside Milan stratified according to UCSF and UT7 criteria and to compare OS with standard and non standard but accepted indications for LT.
