Liver Hypertrophy after Alpps Stage 2 - How Far Does It Grow?

Purpose: Many clinical studies regarding ALPPS investigated future liver remnant hypertrophy between the two ALPPS stages. Results demonstrated rapid and more intensive FLR hypertrophy when compared to portal vein embolization or two staged hepatectomy. However, there are no studies investigating what happens with liver remnant in the period after stage 2 ALPPS. Aim of our study was to detect liver volume changes 3-6 months after ALPPS procedure using CT volumetry.
