Balance rehabilitation for patients with Multiple Sclerosis using a Kinect®-based virtual training program

•Multiple Sclerosis (MS) patients often face a lack of motivation and supervision during rehabilitation exercises.•A virtual training program with visual feedback from the Kinect® sensor was developed to address these issues.•The virtual training program significantly improved balance and quality of life in male MS patients compared to traditional exercises.•The proposed method allows patients to perform rehabilitation exercises at home with high motivation and provides accurate information to the therapist.•Entertaining virtual training programs with visual feedback can be an effective tool for rehabilitating MS patients.
