摘要
We observe the Chern insulator state in MnBi2Te4 flakes, and it can keep quantized up to the N\'eel temperature 22 K, with the quantized Hall plateau over 0.97 h/e2, which allows us to study the scaling law of the Chern insulator state systematically. The temperature and current can drive the chiral edge state from the well-developed dissipationless state to the variable range hopping, revealing the breakdown physics of the Chern insulator. When the temperature is larger than 22 K, the thermal activation would dominate the transport, which is confirmed by both local and nonlocal measurement. This work helps us understand the novel scaling physics of the Chern insulator state in MnBi2Te4, and it may be helpful to application in the new generation electronics.
