Mental health interventions for atopic dermatitis: knowledge gaps, pilot programmes and future directions

Atopic dermatitis has a well-known association with mental health comorbidities. This article reviews the mental health interventions currently available to patients and caregivers, including the use of multidisciplinary clinics and peer support programmes. Future research is needed to understand the efficacy of these interventions, the optimal formats and the accessibility of mental health resources.
