Is vaginal brachytherapy necessary in patients with early stage, high risk endometrial cancer?

National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) guidelines recommend considering vaginal brachytherapy (VBT) alone or in combination with systemic therapy for patients with early-stage, high-risk endometrial cancer histology. There is limited data on the risk of isolated vaginal cuff recurrence, and the goal of this study was to evaluate the utility of VBT in this population.
