摘要

Introduction: Given false negative rate for sentinel lymph node biopsy (SLNBx) are > 20% in patients >65years and negative predictive value (NPV) for breslow depth (BD) >4mm at 88%, we need novel ways to detect potential of spread in older patients and thicker melanomas to avoid progression and delay of treatment.
