摘要
Densities, rho, and speed of sound, u, of binary mixtures of decan-1-ol with cyclohexane, cyclohexanone, or cyclohexylamine have been measured over the entire range of compositions at (298.15 and 303.15) K and at a pressure of 0.1 MPa. From these experimental data, the excess molar volumes, V-E, excess molar isentropic compressibilities, K-s,m(E), molar free volumes, V-f, intermolecular free lengths, L-f, limiting excess partial molar volumes, V-i(E,0) and Beyer's parameters of nonlinearity, B/A, were also calculated. Redlich-Kister polynomial equations were used to fit the excess properties to ensure the accuracy of the experimental data. Numerous empirical correlations were tested to correlate the speed of sound data in which only some correlated well in this study.
