摘要
Background: A detailed exploration of suicidal and non-suicidal self-injurious behavior by means of specific interviews can support risk assessment in clinical practice and research. Methods: In the present study, the psychometric properties of the German version of the Suicide Attempt Self-Injury Interview (SASII) with a total of N = 240 patients were examined. This work is based on the factor structure of the English-language validation of the SASII. Results and Conclusions: The confirmatory factor analysis showed a good model fit, whereas the internal consistency can be classified as low. Few positive associations were found with measures of current theoretical models of suicidal ideation and behavior. Given the low reliability of the German subscales found in this study, it is not recommended that they be used in research. Beyond such use, the SASII can nevertheless be profitably used in research and clinical practice. (c) 2023 S. Karger AG, Basel
