摘要
The severe plastic deformation (SPD)-induced atom rapid diffusion joining method was employed to increase Al/ Fe diffusion rate at short time and low temperature, and achieve reliable metallurgical bonding. The local stress and strain caused by SPD led to the refinement of crystal grains and the generation of high concentrations of dislocations, which provided channels for the rapid diffusion of Fe atoms to the Al interface region. The diffusion rate of the interface layer is 103 faster than the thermal activation diffusion state. The short-term and low-temperature characteristics of the SPD-induced rapid diffusion method can be extended to other solid-state welding methods.
