39 - 67 GHz CMOS Multistage Power Amplifier With Two-Way Power Stage.

This paper reports on a variable gain amplifier (VGA) with bandwidth of 2S GHz operating at up to 67 GHz. The VGA achieves a wide bandwidth by using an S-stage amplifier configuration. In addition, the use of a differential 2-parallel configuration in the output stage achieves high output power. The VGA is designed on a 40 nm bulk CMOS process and achieves an operating bandwidth of 39 to 67 GHz, an output gain of up to 20.2 dB, and an $\mathrm{OP}_{\mathrm{1dB}}$ of 0.11 dBm.
