An Alternative Learning Management System to Improve the Learning Accessibility of Merdeka Curriculum

This research aims to developing a learning management system (LMS) based on a local network to improve student learning access in the Informatics subject. The LMS is design to address the challenges faced by students in using the Merdeka Curriculum, which includes difficulties in finding appropriate learning materials, limited internet connectivity, and reduced motivation to learn. The proposed solution aims to create an engaging and accessible platform for students to access educational resources seamlessly. The development methodology employed is the 4D model, encompassing four key phases: Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. A web-based mobile learning application is developed, featuring essential components such as a homepage, materials section, discussion forum, and quizzes. The website's dynamic nature, built using Flask and Web view, allows for easy content updating without affecting the application's functionality. The study seeks to assess the feasibility of the learning media and gauge its impact on student learning access. By adopting a local network-based LMS, this research endeavors to revolutionize the way students access educational resources, making learning a more engaging and efficient process in the field of Informatics. The results of the student learning access test showed a percentage of 84.10% with very high criteria. This shows the effect of implementing a learning management system on the ease of access to student learning. Therefore, the media is considered appropriate and can be used as one of the supporting media for learning in informatics subjects at Vocational School.
