摘要
Electric resilience has emerged as a critical issue in response to the growing number of threats that can disrupt the reliable operation of the electrical system. From the increasing frequency of natural disasters to the projected vulnerabilities of advanced automated systems, numerous challenges must be addressed. This article provides a comprehensive review of proposed strategies designed to enhance electric resilience, with particular emphasis on evaluating the impacts on end-users. These strategies propose solutions based on power electronic converters, which play a critical role in enhancing the flexibility, reliability, and efficiency of the electrical system. By analyzing these systems, valuable insights can be extracted regarding the measures and solutions that should be considered to effectively address this critical aspect of the electrical system. By leveraging the capabilities of power electronic converters the system operators, and other stakeholders can develop robust strategies to mitigate risks, ensure reliable power supply, and improve overall electric resilience.
