Implementação de uma Estratégia de Phase Shedding Descentralizado em Sistema de Armazenamento de Energia em Bateria

The battery energy storage systems (BESS) have been gaining notoriety in recent years due to the high penetration of renewable energies in distributed generation, with the aim of providing a dispatchable and reliable energy source, in addition to serving ancillary services and assisting in infrastructure and energy management. It is noteworthy that in this implementation a multi-cell converter is used, in order to expand the power supply capacity, reduce the ripples in the electrical variables and reduce the volume occupied by the inductors of the dc/dc converters. This study presents the design and simulation implementation of a decentralized Phase Shedding strategy for an energy storage system. The converter is modeled and control equations are presented, as well as the development of Phase Shedding and Auto- Interleaving, bringing the results obtained.
