La búsqueda de nuevos antibióticos. Una experiencia didáctica para estudiantes de Bachillerato

espanolSe presenta un proyecto de investigacion, centrado en la busqueda de nuevos antibioticos y dirigida al alumnado de 1o de Bachillerato de las materias de Biologia y Geologia y Cultura Cientifica y de Biologia de 2o de Bachillerato. Dicha experiencia es el resultado de la participacion de estos estudiantes con el Dpto. de Microbiologia de la Facultad de Ciencias de la Universidad de A Coruna en el proyecto Small World Initiative (SWI) de «Ciencia ciudadana», cuyo objetivo es tratar de concienciar a la sociedad, mediante la participacion de los estudiantes, sobre el problema de salud global que supone la resistencia bacteriana y el mal uso de los antibioticos, e incrementar el interes por carreras cientificas entre los estudiantes de estos ciclos formativos. EnglishA research project is presented, focused on the search for new antibiotics and aimed at students in 1st Baccalaureate in the subjects of Biology and Geology and Scientific Culture and Biology in 2nd Baccalaureate. This experience is the result of the participation of these students with the Department of Microbiology of the Faculty of Sciences of the University of A Coruna in the Small World Initiative (SWI) project of «Citizen Science», whose objective is to try to raise awareness among society, through the participation of students, on the global health problem posed by bacterial resistance and the misuse of antibiotics, and increase interest in scientific careers among students in these training cycles.
