Inspired by nacre , the freeze-casting technique was applied to fabricate tough and conductive MXene/epoxy layered bulk nanocomposites, as reported by Qunfeng Cheng and co-workers in their Research Article (e202216874). The synergistic interfacial interactions between MXene lamellar scaffold and epoxy through surface chemical modification results in high-performance MXene/epoxy layered bulk nanocomposites, which exhibit excellent electromagnetic interference shielding efficiency.
