Synthesis of Wool Dyeing Surfactant and Its Structure Characterization

A novel kind of amphoteric surfactant was synthesized with diethylamine and AE09 as raw materials by a three-step method in this paper.The influences of such factors as volume ratio of isopropyl alcohol and water,reaction temperature as well as reaction time on the final product yield were studied.All the products structures were proved by IR;and the final product was further proved to be a surfactant characteristic by the surface tension data measured.Not only can the final product greatly reduce the surface tension of water,but also the ability of wetting wool yarn from one percent samples of aqueous solutions was increased by 7 times by capillary rising-method determination.
