Heat and Mass Transfer of MHD Fluid Flow under the Influence of Radiative Effect and Different Pressure Gradients

Present study examines the influence of mass and heat transfer on a time dependent laminar radiative magnetohydrodynamic fluid flow between the parallel plates through permeable medium. The set of equations for the described flow are non-dimensionalised and finite difference scheme is used to find the solution numerically. The velocity, temperature and concentration fields for the prescribed flow in the case of both linear as well as pulsatile pressure gradients are obtained using Thomos algorithm. The impact of distinct pertinent parameters on the dimensionless velocity, temperature, concentration fields and other physical parameters like Skin friction on velocity are depicted graphically, also its physical aspects are discussed. Results of Sherwood number as well as Nusselt number are obtained and tabulated. It is noted the fluid temperature and heat transmission rate increased with radiation parameter.
