摘要
Global climate change and the resulting demands to reduce emissions lead to a need for emission-free technical solutions. The transport sector is one of the main sources of global emissions and has an increasing emission rate in contrast to other sectors. The first technical solutions already exist to ensure emission-free transport through batteries. These transport technologies mainly relate to cars and buses. In the area of ferries, there are already first approaches for battery-powered ferries. However, solutions for high-speed ferries do not yet exist. In order to enable a fast production of the ferries and at the same time an individual adaptation as much as possible, a modularisation method has been developed, which makes it possible to adapt the ships to the given conditions on site. The modularisation of ships also makes it possible to outsource certain parts of the production within the framework of a production network. Within the TrAM project, the world's first modular high-speed ferry was developed and produced. In this paper, the production is analysed and the findings from the production are used to develop a vision for the future production of ships as part of a four-step approach.
