摘要
The widespread use of fossil fuels and the environmental pollution resulting from their unregulated consumption contribute to the phenomenon of global warming. Therefore, it is imperative to develop multigenerational systems using clean and renewable energy sources. In this paper, a novel eco-friendly and modified multi generation process is proposed that integrates the subsystems of a modified/improved Kalina cycle, an organic Rankine cycle, a sea water desalination, and a double-effect absorption chiller. The objective of this process is to produce cooling, heating, power, and fresh water. Aspen HYSYS software is used to simulate the entire system, and the 4E aspect (energy, exergy, economics, and environment) are examined. The entire system can produce cooling, heating, and power of 12095.4 kW, 43180 kW, and 13035.81 kW, respectively. The results demonstrate that the overall energy, exergy, heating generation, and electrical efficiencies of this system are 41.83%, 41.23%, 25.04%, and 7.56%, respectively. Besides, the economic study exhibits the sum unit cost of the outputs and the levelized cost of energy for the proposed process as 54.96 $; GJ(-1)and 0.139 $; kWh(-1), respectively. Also, total capital investment and total annual cost are computed to be 190669148 $ and 70169705 $/year, respectively.
