摘要

•AFR can be used to create interatrial communication with a predetermined diameter.•We report our initial experience of AFR implantation in children with congenital and acquired heart disease.•AFR implantation is a low-risk and well-tolerated procedure, even in pediatric age.•In critical settings, AFR allows right/left cavities unload and improvement of hemodynamics.
