Energy Storage Optimization of Multi-Energy System Considering Power Loss

The capacity configuration of the multi-energy interconnection system is an important issue. This paper proposes a novel optimization model considering the power loss of the multi-energy system. The whole optimization is divided into two layers. The first aim is to optimize the photovoltaics and wind turbines considering the investment amount, power loss, power lack, and abandoned power. The second layer focuses on the capacity configuration of the energy storage and diesel generators. The improved particle swarm optimization algorithm with convertible weight coefficients is implemented in the optimization, guaranteeing reliability and efficiency. Case studies test the proposed method and algorithm, and the coordination strategy of a multi-energy system is offered.
