The Study on the Key Parameter in Beam-Wave Resynchronization Method of the Non-Periodic FW-SWS for TWTs

For improving the electronic efficiency, the beam-wave resynchronization (BWRS) method of non-periodic (NP) slow-wave structure (SWS) are proposed in our previous work, where a key parameter (ε) was defined to build the beam-wave synchronization (BWS) condition. How to obtain the accurate value of ε is introduced in this paper. For the concrete NP folded-waveguide SWS (FW-SWS), the ratio of ε and beam velocity is about 5.1% with the difference of the relative velocity smaller than 0.01%.
