Dielectric Characteristic Measurement of Gyrotron Output Windows

Some dielectric films of different materials made in China, such as beryllium oxide, aluminum nitride and MPCVD diamond, were measured to obtain the permittivity and loss tangent by free-space transmission measurement method for analyzing and comparing their dielectric characteristics. The results show that the loss tangents of the diamonds can be 10 ^-4 magnitude, even smaller.
