Static Random Access Memory (SRAM) is a crucial element in smart devices, due for its speed, low power consumption. These devices in our daily lives have spurred the search for memory technologies that can satisfy their demanding needs. As smart devices grow in power and features, the call for memory solutions delivering high-speed, low-power, and dependable performance has intensified. Consequently, Static Random Access Memory (SRAM) has been extensively investigated and applied in diverse smart devices. This study delves into SRAM's varied applications across smart devices like smartphones, IoT devices, wearables, and automotive systems. This paper analyzes the distinct requisites of each application domain and evaluates how SRAM meets these demands. Moreover, it spotlights the advancements and hurdles in SRAM technology poised for future smart devices. This exploration underscores SRAM's pivotal role in enhancing the performance, power efficiency, and reliability of smart application devices.
