A Multiband Dipole Antenna Based on Mandelbrot Fractal Geometry

摘要
In this paper, a novel design of a patch dipole antenna based on the Mandelbrot fractal is proposed for ultra-wideband (UWB) applications. The HFSS software is used to simulate the antenna and analyze its input impedance, 3D gain pattern, current density distribution, and other performances. The simulation results show that the proposed antenna can achieve a large bandwidth of approximately 17 GHz and a high gain at the main operating frequencies of 5G wireless communications.
