摘要
Tuning dielectric properties is a prerequisite for polymer-based composites in applications such as flexible electronics, wireless communications and optical devices. For example, in flexible electronics, low dielectric constants can reduce signal attenuation and crosstalk, while in wireless communications high dielectric constants can improve antenna performance and signal propagation. In this paper, based on Boltzmann’s distribution law, a method is proposed to use the electrostatic potential energy under the auxiliary electric field to adjust the distribution state of one-dimensional fillers (Brownian particles), which in turn affects the dielectric properties of composite materials. Monte Carlo and finite element simulations were carried out, and the dielectric properties of the samples prepared with the assistance of electric field were consistent with the simulation results. This study presents a universal physical approach for the systematic design of dielectric composites and is expected to stimulate more experimental work to design novel functional dielectric composites.
