Calculation the Probability of Wildfire Tripping on Transmission Lines Based on Metacellular Automata

Recently, wildfires have become a key menace to the safe operation of power transmission systems. As wildfires frequently result in transmission line tripping, it has become crucial to accurately calculate the probability of such trappings. This paper proposes a method for calculating the probability of wildfire tripping on transmission lines based on meta-cellular automata. First, four kinds of transmission line tripping influence factors are established, and then the wildfire spreading behavior is accurately simulated based on the theory of meta-cellular automat. Finally, an accurate probability change curve of wildfire tripping on transmission lines is obtained according to the trend of wildfire spreading. The validity of this method is verified by case study, which is useful for guiding the prevention and control of wildfires on transmission lines.
