Battery storage model optimization and its ground fault characterization

In order to make comprehensive use of solar energy, wind energy, biomass and other renewable energy and natural gas, hydrogen and other environmentally friendly energy, distributed power supply is widely used and developed, which also puts forward higher requirements for its energy storage technology, and battery energy storage technology is more widely used, so this paper builds a battery equivalent circuit based on the Oliver Trembly model in PSCAD/EMTDC, reduces two inputs based on the existing mathematical model of the battery, and verifies its usability through simulation. The simplified model was used to investigate the transient characteristics of the battery module in the event of a ground fault. The simulation results show that the magnitude of the earth impedance only affects the magnitude of the voltage and current values such as $\boldsymbol{E}_{\text{bat}}$ , but that the two parameters $\boldsymbol{V}_{\text{bat}}$ and $\boldsymbol{I}_{\mathbf{batt}}$ change 1.2s before the fault occurs. The fault characteristics derived from the simulations can provide a theoretical basis for subsequent fault warning of the energy storage module.
