Analytic Prediction Method of Magnetic Properties Considering Skin Effect Based on Maxwell's Equation and Fractional Order Method

As one of the basic studies on magnetic materials, accurate prediction of the materials' magnetic properties has important guiding significance for electrical equipment design. This paper proposes an analytic method combining Maxwell's equation with a fractional order method to predict the hysteresis loop at high frequency. Firstly., based on Maxwell's equation., an analytical approach presenting the average magnetic flux density as a variable is proposed to predict the eddy current magnetic field strength. Then, according to the fractional order method., a comprehensive approach is proposed to describe the materials' static hysteresis characteristics and excess effects under the non-uniform distribution of magnetic flux density inside the strip. Finally, an analytic method is established under the equivalent field separation technique to predict the materials' hysteresis loop at high frequencies. Compared with the classical method, the prediction accuracy of the proposed method is improved by 42.2%.
