Grounded Meminductor Emulator using Operational Amplifiers and Memristor

Memristor is available as off-the-shelf component but memcapacitor and meminductor are still not available in the market as off-the-shelf component. Therefore, researchers are attempting to mimic the properties of a meminductor with available active building blocks. So, a grounded meminductor emulator is realized with the help of two operational amplifiers, a memristor, a few resistors, and a capacitor. The pinched hysteresis loops are achieved in the frequency range of 450-550kHz for the proposed grounded meminductor emulator. The LTspice simulation tool has been used to obtain the simulation results. Non-volatility and temperature analysis is carried out in which it is observed that the value of the meminductor changes when the input pulse is high, but it remains the same during the non-pulse period. The temperature analysis is found to be satisfactory as hysteresis loops are not distorted after variations in the temperature.
