Design of an Antennas with Broadband and Linearly Polarized Omni-directional Radiation Pattern

摘要
In this paper, an antenna with broadband and linearly polarized omni-directional radiation pattern is discussed. The antenna consists of four metal cylinders for energy transmission and four short-circuit pins used for radiation. The operating frequency bandwidth of the linearly polarized antenna increases with the increase of the dip-angle. The simulated results show the relative-bandwidth of the antenna increases from 14% to 34% as the dip-angle increases from 0deg to 30deg.
