Asymmetric Coupling for Wide Angle Impedance Matching of Phased Array Antennas

摘要

A new technique to improve active impedance match of phased arrays over wide scan range is proposed. It is demonstrated that manipulating coupling asymmetrically can mitigate the impact of couplings on active impedance without causing extra cost or manufacturing complexity. The proposed technique is flexible and can be applied to the most of phased array structures.
