A Reconfigurable SIW Antenna Array for Sub-6GHz 5G Communication Systems

摘要
In this paper, an electrically reconfigurable beam-forming antenna is presented. The proposed antenna operates at 5.8GHz and it could be implemented on a single PCB laminate. The simulated gain and radiation efficiency for the proposed array are 13.6 dBi and 53.5%, respectively. In the presented beam-forming antenna, phase shifts are controlled by altering the switch states, then the main beam direction can be electronically steered.
