A Multiband CPW Plate Antenna with Symmetrically Coupling Structure for Indoor Wireless Communication System

In the article., the antenna with a CPW (Co-Planar Waveguide) structure is presented in Sub-6GHz band. By using a cascade of rectangular and circular patches., which are surrounded by the ground of CPW structure., the antenna realizes the good performances of wideband and high gain. Moreover, the symmetrically coupling structure is introduced in the proposed antenna., which can greatly improve the bandwidth and gain., so that it can cover the needed bands of Sub-6GHz communication. In order to realize the directional radiation, a box-type reflector is used to achieve high gain. Finally., for comparison, the beneficial effects of the symmetric coupling structure on the performance of antenna concluding bandwidth and realized gain are verified. The simulated results present the directional gain of the planar antenna is 6.4-10.7dBi at 0.6 GHz-0.96 GHz., 1.7 GHz-2.7 GHz and 3.3 GHz-4.2 GHz. The antenna possesses several benefits, including broadband., high-directivity., and economical, making it a fitting choice for contemporary communication systems.
