摘要
This paper proposed a wide band dual-polarized antenna, which can be applied to 2G/3G/LTE/5G base stations. The antenna mainly consists of two crossed dipoles in the shape of “cat-ear” that are perpendicular to each other and there is a disk-shape array above the antenna. Each dipole is fed by a stub connected directly to the coaxial line. In this way, the feeding networks are located in the same plane to avoid extra metal via. Simulated results show that a bandwidth of 69.1% (1.75-3.6 GHz, $\vert \mathbf{S}_{11}\vert < -10$ dB) with a gain of 8.1 $\pm$ 0.5 dBi can be achieved in the -45º polarized direction, whereas another bandwidth of 68.4% (1.76-3.59 GHz, $\vert \mathbf{S}_{11}\vert < -10$ dB) with a gain of $7.9\pm 0^{0.7}$ dBi can also be realized. In addition, low cross polarization (X-pol) and good port isolation are achieved.
