Research on Multi-layer dual-band Microstrip feed

With the development of modern communication technology, the antenna receives radio signals as a key component of wireless communication system. People start to claim some requirements about antenna. The classical Yagi-Uda antenna has a good development in wide frequency band. According to achieve high specification and compact size in real application. A multi-layer microstrip antenna brings a novel thought to get high antenna Gain, better Front Back Ratio and symmetrical radiation patterns, etc. A novel multi-layer microstrip antenna which is used for large cylindrical reflector antenna is showed here, the optimized size of the director unit, activator unit and reflector unit show it is different from traditional microstrip antenna. The multi-layer micro-strip feeds with cylindrical reflector antenna working in dual-frequency band is also simulated when the reflector antennas move in two different scanning angles.
